1) Our chat rooms are moderated from time to time by an employee to help ensure politeness, neighborliness and other etiquette-related matters. If anyone in any of the chat rooms on this site should ask you for your name and password, do not give it. Let us know, at support@yavarsity.com, if you experience unusual activity such as this.

2) Occasionally, chats from yavarsity.com may be transcripted, posted or excerpted in other areas of our web site. In addition, the messages you post on this site are not private.

3) YAVarsity.com makes efforts to ensure that offensive messages are not posted; however, we cannot guarantee that such messages won't appear. Although we cannot resolve disputes between users, we will expel chat-room users who are routinely abusive, remove their messages and block membership. If you are expelled for any reason, your Account registration fee will not be refunded.

4) YAVarsity.com chat rooms are intended for sports-related interaction; they are not to be used as an online dating service. We will expel chat room users who routinely direct conversations away from sports-related topics, remove their messages and block membership. If you are expelled for any reason, your Account registration fee will not be refunded.

Guidelines for Keeping It Friendly

1) Do treat other people and their opinions with the same respect and consideration that you believe you should receive. You can disagree without being impolite, hurtful or angry. Offensive behavior is grounds for being kicked out.

2) Don't use vulgar language. People who come to our chat rooms are expecting casual sports-related interaction; they are not looking for messages that will make them feel uncomfortable.

3) Don't transmit via YAVarsity.com any information (words, graphics, pictures, etc.) that could be taken as threatening, offensive or hateful.

4) Do let others take their turn to ask or answer a question in a crowded room.

5) Don't transmit information that is copyrighted or harms the proprietary rights of any individual, group or organization.

6) Do learn from others good behavior.

7) Do have fun and a good experience whenever you visit our chat rooms.
